Who are we?

We are a group of like minded individuals who meet regularly to praise God. We use the name church of Christ for our congregation because that is the name given to us in Romans 16:16. 

Our goal is to keep everything as scriptural as possible and emulate the first century church as closely as possible.

We believe in the following ideals:

• Weekly observance of the Lord's Supper on Sunday (1 Cor 11:26, Acts 20:7)

• Baptism by full immersion by consenting believers in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins (John 3:23, Matthew 3:16, Acts 3:38)

• Singing without instruments, or a cappella. (James 5:13)

• A plurality of male leaders of the church, known as elders. (Acts 14:23)

What to expect when you visit us.

When you visit us, our Sunday service is separated into two different sections, a bible study and the worship service. 

On Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. , we study the bible together and provide thoughts and reference other parts of the bible and how it the verses impact us in the 21st century.

On Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we hold our worship service which we will do the following:

• Sing praises to God based on the songs selected by that week's song leader (Colossians 3:16, Psalms 100:1-2)

• Partake in the Lord's Supper, where we partake of the emblems of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine as we were commanded (Matthew 26:26-29, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

• Take up the collection between the members of the church (1 Corinthians 16:1-4)

• Listen to a sermon prepared by one of the members of the church (2 Timothy 4:2)
